Life Science Technology at the TU Graz has reached a high level of expertise through various research projects during the last ten years. The know-how which has been accumulated is unique insofar as it represents a well-balanced symbiosis of fundamental research and applied biotechnological aspects.

The long-term aim of the Key Research Area Life Science Technology will be the continued positioning of the TU Graz at a top level of international Life Science research. Coordination of research activities in this field will focus and improve infrastructural facilities at our university. An intermediate goal will be the extension of the Key Research Area to innovative technologies which will require enhanced interdisciplinary investigations. |
